8SIAN is a Web3 project – representing the Asian community the NFT space by allowing Asians, minorities and unheard artists to be a part of web3, created by Malaysian entrepreneur Nicole Yap and co-founder Mr. Hike. Another goal of 8SIAN is to empower women to be strong, independent and successful.
8SIAN first partnered with Boson Protocol for Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW) which took place on 23rd to 27th March 2022 in Decentraland. The event featured 5 NFT collections with only one participant from Asia allowing 8SIAN to share Asia’s rich heritage and culture within the metaverse.
8SIAN has partnered with numerous large brands such as UNIQLO, a Japanese global fashion house, to curate 9 unique NFTs that each come with a free 8SIAN x UNIQLO UTme Physical Merchandise. Every NFT celebrates a unique Asian story based on elements such as food, tradition and culture.
Another brand that 8SIAN has collaborated with is Royal Selangor. They worked together to create the Jade Lady Pewter Piece, the first phygital project that came with a digital wearable NFT which can be used in Metaverse.

Redeemable NFTs, also known as physical NFTs, are what will enable 8SIAN to become a global brand with numerous upcoming partnerships that will feature physical & digital “phygital” items. These NFTs can be held, transferred or traded like any other NFT.
